· 12 oz plant based milk
· 2 scoops of protein powder of choice
· 1 banana
· 1 cup of spinach
· 2 tbsp of natural peanut butter
· 1 tbsp cacao nibs or dark cocoa powder
· ½ tsp of Heilala Vanilla Powder
Combine 1 cup rolled oats, 2 ripe bananas,2 eggs, ½ tsp of vanilla powder, 1 tsp baking powder and a pinch of salt in a blender and blend until smooth and thick. Generously spray a preheated waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray then spoon a quarter to a third cup of the batter into the waffle iron. Allow to cook until golden brown and cooked through, approximately 7-10 minutes. Remove and place on a wire rack to cool for a few minutes before serving. Top with fresh fruit or nut butter.
Mix half a teaspoon of vanilla powder into your coffee beans. Grind them up together and top with frothy milk of your choice for a homemade vanilla coffee.
