- 170g softened butter
- 3.5 Tablespoons caster sugar
- 170g plain flour
- 3.5 Tablespoons custard powder
- 1 tsp Heilala Vanilla Paste
Vanilla Custard Frosting
Biscuit Method
Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius, 350F
Cream butter and caster sugar until pale, add vanilla paste and mix to combine, Add sifted dry ingredients, mix until you reach a soft dough. Roll into small even sized balls, place on greased trays, flatten with a fork.
Makes 35 bite sized cookies
When cold, join together with Vanilla Custard Frosting
Vanilla Custard Frosting
Sift icing sugar and custard powder into a bowl, add melted butter and Heilala Vanilla Paste.
Add boiling water a little at a time until you reach a spreadable consistency.
